Headway Gold Coast recognises the importance of the Internet, Computers and information technology within todays society. These influences not only effect the way business's operate, they also effect the everyday lives of us all.
The Internet offers many advancements to modern society in the form of communication, entertainment, knowlege and homebased access to many thousands of business's, organisations, clubs, services and resources world wide.
Headway Gold Coast has become a fore runner in providing Internet access, Internet training and resources to our clients. This has been accomplished through the establishment of An Internet Cafe at our Gold Coast centre. Our Internet Cafe has been equipt with seven broadband enabled workstations, one standalone computer configured for research and information resources and an administrative computer from which our network is governed.
Our seven work stations operate through an Internet kiosk system that provides content filtering, to ensure that our clients can be protected from undesirable content.
All of our computers are equipt with the latest in Microsoft XP software as well as Microsoft applications and games, this has come about through the generosity of the Microsoft Corporation and there Unlimited Potential program.
